Instant in-person Bitcoin payments · No POS terminal
Pay and get paid in $BTC,
phone to phone.
SatsNow is built for instant in-person payments — between people or at any shop — directly in Bitcoin. No POS terminal, no card reader. Just a smartphone, or a smartphone plus a browser on PC or laptop.
Built for real-world payments
The main purpose of SatsNow is simple: replace the POS terminal. Send and receive sats face to face, in seconds, with nothing more than the devices you already carry.
QuickPay
Phone to phone. Split a bill, pay a friend or send sats across the table — both phones, one QR.
Shops without a POS
Any merchant can accept Bitcoin with just a smartphone — no card reader, no bank terminal, no extra hardware.
Phone + browser
Behind the counter you can use SatsNow on a PC or laptop browser, while the customer pays from their phone.
Nothing stored on servers

QuickPay fee — questions
How much does QuickPay cost?+
A flat 2,000 sats per transaction. There are no subscriptions, no monthly fees and no hidden charges.
Who pays the fee — sender or receiver?+
The sender pays — the person generating the QR. The receiver gets the full amount they were promised; the fee is added on top of the funding from the sender's side.
How is the fee charged?+
It's included in the total funding amount of the transaction. For example, if you send 50,000 sats:
- 2,000 sats — QuickPay fee
- 50,000 sats — to the receiver's address
- + on-chain miner fee
Everything is broadcast in a single on-chain transaction, with the fee paid as a separate output to bc1qy87k32u0apw5q6ypjqg97ttwl0uxqz0ucau2q7 — fully visible in any block explorer.
What is the fee used for?+
It covers SatsNow's broadcast infrastructure, ongoing development, and user support. It is the only way we fund the project — we don't sell data, run ads or take custody of your sats.
